Gay Saunas in Frankfurt
Frankfurt has three central gay saunas, all popular with locals and easy to reach on public transport. Between them they cover everything from a relaxed wellness visit to a busy weekend cruising crowd.
SAUNAWERK
SAUNAWERK (Eschersheimer Landstraße 88) is Frankfurt's flagship gay men's sauna, with a modern layout, long opening hours and non-stop weekends. It's a reliable choice with a steady crowd and good facilities.
Amsterdam (Clubsauna Amsterdam)
The men's sauna Amsterdam (Waidmannstraße 31) has been operating since 1969, making it a classic of the Frankfurt scene. It closes on Mondays and takes a short annual summer break, so check hours before visiting.
Metropol-Sauna
Metropol-Sauna, near Konstablerwache, is the largest and most central of the three, known for its cruising areas and regular foam parties, with late and around-the-clock hours at the weekend.
All three are men-only. Bring or rent a towel, and check each sauna's website for current opening times and any themed nights.
