Marcha do Orgulho LGBTI+ — Percorso del Pride di Lisbona

The Marcha do Orgulho LGBTI+ de Lisboa is Portugal's largest Pride demonstration, held each year in central Lisbon since the early 2000s. It is organised by a coalition of LGBTI+ and human-rights groups, and it is a political march with banners and chants rather than a commercial parade. The march traditionally gathers at Praça do Príncipe Real, in the city's queer neighbourhood, and heads downhill toward the Baixa; the exact route and date vary year to year, so check the organisers' website closer to the time. It usually takes place in June, separate from the Arraial Lisboa Pride street party. Expect steep cobbled streets: wear proper shoes.
