À propos de ce lieu Marcha do Orgulho LGBTI+ — Parcours de la Fierté de Lisbonne

The Marcha do Orgulho LGBTI+ de Lisboa is Portugal's national Pride demonstration, running in Lisbon since 28 June 1997 — 23 years after the Carnation Revolution and two years after ILGA Portugal was founded. It is Portugal's largest LGBTQ+ demonstration and one of the most-cited annual Pride events in Iberia. The route runs approximately 3 km through central Lisbon from Praça do Príncipe Real via Avenida da Liberdade and Rossio to Terreiro do Paço on the Tagus waterfront. The route deliberately combines two civic axes: the Príncipe Real starting point in the queer neighbourhood, and the Terreiro do Paço finishing point on the historic royal square and Tagus waterfront. The Avenida da Liberdade section passes some of Lisbon's most-cited civic institutions including the Municipal Court and several federal ministries. The Marcha do Orgulho draws roughly 80,000 attendees per year to the 2024 edition. Lisbon Pride week runs the full week preceding the parade Saturday (typically the last Saturday of June) with programming across the whole queer neighbourhood — the Arraial Pride festival on Terreiro do Paço (30,000+ attendees), the Queer Lisboa film festival programming, community meetings at ILGA Portugal and the Rainbow Wave concerts at Príncipe Real park. Route is free, walkable year-round as public street. Parade day sees the route closed 15:00-20:00; the closing rally at Terreiro do Paço runs 18:00-22:00. Best experienced on parade day; on non-parade days the route is a substantial Lisbon sightseeing walk through the civic axis. Baixa-Chiado metro is at the parade's midpoint.
