El Gato Lounge è il cuore diurno di gay Torremolinos: un ristorante fronte mare e cocktail lounge sulla passeggiata Bajondillo, proprio di fronte al tratto di sabbia dove la folla gay stende i suoi asciugamani. La cucina è aperta dalla colazione alla cena con un menu mediterraneo-internazionale, e i DJ set pomeridiani accompagnano la terrazza fino a sera. Chiuso il mercoledì fuori dall'alta stagione. Insieme all'Eden Beach Club, a pochi passi di distanza, è il motivo per cui la spiaggia antistante è semplicemente chiamata El Gato / Eden Beach dalla maggior parte dei visitatori.
