El Gato Lounge est le cœur de journée de Torremolinos gay : un restaurant et bar à cocktails en bord de mer sur la promenade du Bajondillo, directement en face de la plage où la foule gay pose ses serviettes. La cuisine propose des menus méditerranéens-internationaux du petit-déjeuner au dîner, et des sets de DJ l'après-midi prolongent l'ambiance sur la terrasse jusqu'au soir. Fermé le mercredi en dehors de la haute saison. Avec l'Eden Beach Club quelques portes plus loin, c'est la raison pour laquelle la plage en face est simplement appelée El Gato / Eden Beach par la plupart des visiteurs.
