About this place El Gato Lounge

El Gato Lounge is a gay restaurant and cocktail lounge on the Bajondillo promenade, right in front of the stretch of beach where the gay crowd gathers in Torremolinos. It serves breakfast through dinner from a Mediterranean and international menu, and DJs keep the terrace going into the evening. Along with Eden Beach Club nearby, it gives the beach in front its unofficial name. With over 2,600 Google reviews at 4.5, it is one of the busiest gay spots in town. Sunbeds and terrace tables go fast on summer weekends, so arrive early or book.

The value for money is 10 stars, the food is delicious and beautifully presented, the service is friendly and warm, and the atmosphere is charming. A stroll along the promenade afterwards makes for the perfect evening.
