A great experience and excellent service.
I'm loving it here, friendly and relaxed hotel for gay men. I thought I'd dislike the garish paint jobs, but they're not so in your face when you're here and perk you up. They look good in the sun. It's clean too. Not as expected after reading some moaning reviews before I came. The staff are friendly too. I don't know what some people winge about. The guys are mixed and friendly too.
I just finished my vacation at the hotel, like every summer. After paying double what I paid last year, my experience wasn't positive. The only multi-functional machine in the gym was broken, and there was no air conditioning. Cockroaches. Poor cleaning (the dust on the bedside lamps was unacceptable). But my worst experience was being stuck in the hottest elevator in the hotel—the one facing the street entrance—right when the sun is beating down. No one from the hotel waited for us when we left, not even a glass of water, or asked how we were. Inhumane. They couldn't care less. It's clear that Ona only wants the money from gay tourists. At this rate, and with these prices, only foreign retirees will be able to afford the hotel. A disaster!
I've been staying at this hotel for years. But since the Ona Group bought it, I've seen a drastic drop in quality. Cockroaches in the breakfast buffet, rooms not entirely clean. We had lunch one day and the €20 set menu was food that looked like my young niece had made it. But the price... Double what the same room cost me last year... This has resulted in a different kind of clientele now. Throughout the week (with a few exceptions), the guests were mostly foreign retirees... What a shame...
A very nice and colorful hotel reserved for adults. Very well located, just 5 minutes from the lively town center with its bars and clubs, and 10 minutes from the beach. The rooms are functional and the sea view is truly magnificent. Excellent soundproofing. Two swimming pools, one of which is on the rooftop. Breakfast is a buffet with a wide selection and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is really friendly.
Room service very poor Noise in room from ajoing room Noise from pool party no chance of a siesta Hotel dated
