Meliá Costa del Sol

We were very comfortable, the only bad thing is that when we went the parking lot was under construction and we couldn't access it.

The biggest problem is paying for a 4-star hotel with a sea view, but this is the view I got from my room. Yet the website clearly states "sea view." Reception moved me to another room, but when I woke up at 8 am, there was construction work right below my room (see video). Then I went to the pool, but it didn't open until 10 am on the rooftop and 9 am downstairs, and there was more construction (see video). Paying this price and receiving no financial compensation, and having the manager not even bother to speak to me after making me wait an hour—never again Melia. It's overrated! Avoid it! P.S.: The food in the main restaurant is incredibly bland, and there's very little choice.

A very underwhelming Meliá despite charging literally more than €250 per night. I was assigned room 2901 and it seems that the air-conditioning in this building doesn’t work properly. I stayed 30 May - 1 June and the air-conditioning only worked during the day. At night, the air-conditioning barely worked, the room temperature actually hovered around 25-26 degrees Celsius, which is way too warm and balmy for me. Temperature went down only after sunrise, when the temperature finally went down to 21-22 degrees, which was still not ideal. The check-in / front desk experience also left much to be desired. They seem to prioritize servicing guests coming in large group, which predominantly come from certain countries, and it made me feel very racially profiled to be left alone. Nobody said hello to me, nobody asking me about whether I want to check in or not, etc.. On the bright side, their restaurants are very good. The Beach has amazing seafood (the squid!) while the other newer one has delicious Korean Fried Chicken! Overall a disappointing experience, except the restaurants.

Really nice hotel, big spacious room with a nicr balcony, the roof top pool and bar is great and nice choicr of breakfast optipns at the restaurant. The only thing we felt let it down quite a lot is that it specifically says you cannot reserve sunbeds by either of the pools but everytime it was a struggle to find sunbeds especially at the roof top as people had reserved them with their towels we noticed a lot of people where gone for hours and these sunbeds could have been offered to other guests but there is no monitoring by staff which makes it really unfair especially at the roof top where there are not a lot of sunbeds or umbrellas.

I could get used to living there forever 😎

Lovey hotel, very clean and modern. Right on beach. Air con could be cooler and service a little slow, but food generally good. Pools lovely. Roof top bar stunning views. Very quiet, peaceful. No Music round pool or in bars on beach at night time. For life at night best to walk up steps to Torremolinos. Old town lovely to walk around. Very chill!

The staff's service was spectacular and the facilities magnificent.

We just went for a drink on the rooftop terrace. The Melia Hotel has one of the most beautiful rooftop terraces in Torremolinos. The view is spectacular. We had a delicious Sangria Cava. The staff was also very friendly. It's always worth a visit.

Nearing the end of an excellent stay at the Meliá Costa del Sol. Everything was brilliant with the Level Lounge making our trip that bit more special. We can’t wait to come back next year.

Excellent stay at the Melia Costa Del Sol. Food and drinks at the level pool was lovely, All the level staff were helpful especially Pilar who was great with answering our questions and all her advice. Can’t wait to stay again.

The hotel boasts a prime location right on the beach, and the renovated rooms with sea views are very high-quality and thoughtfully furnished. A clever touch, like the luggage compartment under the refrigerator for two suitcases, is simply ingenious. The hotel itself offers a great deal, from the evening entertainment program and wellness facilities to the rooftop bar with its stunning views. The staff in all areas are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast offers a huge selection of everything your heart desires, including fresh orange juice and fruit, as well as the usual breakfast items. Everyone should find something to their liking at dinner as well. However, the layout of the buffet could use some improvement. It starts with dessert, then moves on to salads, followed by appetizers, and finally the main courses. This led to chaos and congestion almost every evening. The bread section is separate in the middle, but it would be better if it were moved to the dessert section. Otherwise, the quality of the food was very good, except for the occasional slightly tough pork dish. But overall, it's a great experience. 😉
