The city is so hectic. This hotel is so peaceful. Even when you compare it to the towering beach hotels across the street, there is something so calming about its cute size, its aromas as you walk through the front doors or into your room. The art on the walls is real art. And it’s everywhere. From blue hued wallpaper to warm oriental rugs. I’ve stayed in the piccolo room where you’re scuttling around a bed that barely fits as well as the spa room with a big bed, shower and jacuzzi. I do like both options though if you can splurge for a larger room, you’ll be happy. Everything in Tel Aviv seems so compact and boxed in. But this place breathes. No carpet floors (not sure anyone would do that in a sandy city) mean that housekeeping sweeps away the remnants of the beach that you’re going to track in, despite best efforts. Slippers and robes. I love the neighborhood- it’s sleepy in some ways but it’s still Tel Aviv so if you’re jetlagged you won’t be the only one walking on the beach promenade at all hours. The breakfast is really impressive. The variety is vast without being like a big cafeteria. It’s delicate. I appreciate the warm front desk staff. And I love the rooftop.
Stayed in this lovely hotel for one night whilst taking part in a seminar nearby. It is well situated near bus stops and restaurants, and opposite a park overlooking the sea, cosy, well insulated from outside traffic, quiet inside as well, very clean and nicely decorated. I was given a lovely well appointed room on the fourth floor and had a good night sleep and a very good shower. Check in and out was friendly and efficient, and my suitcase was well looked after. Definitely a very good option for a longer stay as well.
Hi, my husband and I are staying at a hotel this Friday and Saturday. Please ask to stay until Saturday, of course with an extra charge. The hotel manager absolutely did not agree. He told us to come on Saturday morning and we would check if a room was available. I arrived at 10 AM at the reception, and the manager told me it was not possible because there was only one room left. When I checked the hotel's website for available rooms, there were 3 rooms. When I told the hotel manager this, he said that the rooms on our website are not updated. It doesn't make any sense at all that the hotel's own website does not have the available rooms updated. My husband keeps Shabbat and prayed fully, and to tell us no because they probably didn't like us, that is really not nice. That's why my husband had to drive home on Saturday. Total disappointment!!
This wonderful boutique boasts a fantastic position across the road from a beautiful beach. We as are many returning guests. We love this hotel as it has the most loyal and long serving staff. The hotel has a great friendly vibe. It’s best to get a superior room which is very comfortable with en-suite shower room. There is also a fabulous roof terrace which is great for relaxing. The breakfasts are typical Israeli and fantastic. The area has great restaurants and the hotel is well positioned We have already rebooked for next year.
Once again we have only the highest praise for our Shalom experience. This hotel feels like our home away from home. Each and every employee is like family. Nothing is too much trouble.. we will keep coming again and again. Our thanks for making our trip so memorable.
Sometimes, words just cannot describe....❤️ My 91 year old father and I landed up in the specially equipped room for the handicapped, at the hotel, after he broke his back and was very ill and bedridden. Yes! As a Tour Guide with 33 years of experience I can tell you that the room was very comfortable and clean and safe for people who need support in the bathroom, the breakfast one of the best in the country, the lobby, relaxing and inviting, the location central and perfect ! But more than anything... The loving care we received over the 3 weeks of our forced stay, from all the different segments of personnel, from the cook to the waiters, the technician to the cleaners and most of all the different people at the reception and management, is something I will NEVER forget!! What a loving atmosphere, such dedication. Go there if you really want to feel AT HOME!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Exceptional Experience at Shalom & Relax Hotel We had a truly wonderful experience at Shalom & Relax Hotel! I would especially like to recognize Yossi, the Service Manager, for his outstanding professionalism, kindness, and personal attention. Yossi went above and beyond to make sure that every detail was taken care of and that we felt comfortable and well looked after throughout our stay. His warm attitude, patience, and genuine commitment to guest satisfaction were truly exceptional. A huge thank you as well to the entire hotel team. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The excellent service and positive atmosphere made our stay especially enjoyable. It is clear that the hotel places a strong emphasis on hospitality and customer satisfaction, and Yossi is a wonderful example of that philosophy. Thank you, Yossi, and thank you to the entire team for an unforgettable stay! We will definitely be happy to return and will highly recommend Shalom & Relax Hotel to anyone looking for excellent hospitality and outstanding service. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Amazing boutique hotel across from the Hilton. Lovely rooms, great breakfast and amazing location plus a friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is in the Old North section of Tel Aviv, a nicely bougie area that feels "local" not touristy. Being on the other side of the road from the beach is actually my preference as it is easier to get to the neighborhood's restaurants and shops. Mostly I like the hotel because it lets you live like a local more than one of the big beach hotels while still providing excellent service and an amazing breakfast spread.
Overall, this was a great choice for our visit to TLV. The hotel is aesthetically pleasing and very clean. Because of its small size, the atmosphere is charming and personal. There are a variety of choices for breakfast. The staff is very attentive and kind. The location is close to a nice park, the beach and Dizengoff street. There are a few downsides, but none would deter another booking in the future. The room size is small but serviceable, but a slightly larger bathroom would have been nice. Street noise was at times disturbing. Other than these minor points, I recommend this hotel.
What a find this hotel was. It’s exceedingly clean and the staff is friendly, accommodating, and very knowledgeable. Their happy hour is welcome and the breakfasts are great! The family will be back again for sure.
