O ESSENCIAL FUKUOKA

Despite the reasonable room rate, I was appalled by the attitude of the front desk woman. Even though I brought my suitcase, her attitude seemed to say, "What are you here for?" I was charged a lodging tax and parking fee, and when I insisted that parking should be free, she simply said it was a charge. When I mentioned again that the Expedia status benefits should have made it free, she simply said, "We overlooked it." I can't believe a hotel front desk could provide such poor service; I think a minimum level of common sense is expected in the service industry. Hotels.com still advertises free parking, upgrades, early check-in, and late check-out as VIP access, but be aware that these benefits will likely be completely ignored.

It's expensive and the location isn't great. The female staff were curt and the service was poor. Koreans should not use this place.

The room is so huge, quite, and comfortable. Highly recommend this elegant hotel, just near the train station and Fuglen cafe. We stay here for three nights and definitely gonna book here if we come visit Fukuoka again.

Stylish hotel!

The best hotel available in this price range. It offers a stylish and sophisticated design, friendly staff, clean facilities, and highly satisfying service. I visited with my 8-month-old baby, and they provided a baby crib and extra blankets upon request. Thanks to them, it was the best trip. Thank you.

It’s not too far from Hakata station. And small quiet park in front out it. Very photogenic hotel

This hotel has a very unique design high book shelves, in the lobby, spacious room and in spring you can see the sakura trees from some room’s window. I love the room design as well, spacious! And the shower is really cool 😀( a little bit complicated though) Overall I love my stays here

The lobby has a wonderful interior. There are towering bookshelves, several meters tall and arranged in a cylindrical shape—something I've never seen in other hotels—and it felt like I had stepped into another world. The elevator requires a card key to call. The room is simple, spacious, and easy to use. I used the laundry and other services, and they were smooth and problem-free.

I have visited many times. The cleaning is excellent, and the bed linens are very comfortable; I am extremely satisfied. However, there was a slight unpleasantness due to a staff member's mistake during check-in. While mistakes happen, I believe a proper apology should have been made. It was a foreign staff member's mistake, but another staff member re-checked and confirmed that it wasn't the staff member who made the mistake. I received an apology from the staff member who re-checked.

This was truly a beautiful place to spend the three days I stayed in Fukuoka. The hotel was located right across from a park and beside several cafés and a FamilyMart, which made it very convenient to grab a quick snack and enjoy it in the park across the street. The location was excellent, especially because it was so close to Hakata Station, which made getting around the city incredibly easy during my trip. The hotel itself had a beautiful interior design, a welcoming atmosphere, and amazing views of Fukuoka from the windows. Overall, it was a comfortable and memorable stay in a fantastic location.
