B&B HOTEL Karlsruhe

Given the close proximity to the Haupbahnhof, parking is paid for in all car park locations. However you can park for free along Güterbahnstraße. Many of the nearby hotels have paid parking - so spaces will fill up pretty quickly. Arriving after parkers have left work for home, and before the influx of night out visitors should give you a free space on this road. Hotel underground parking is €10 per night. Hotel is of a high standard across all areas. Room door key locks are of the older type, but this is the only thing that looks old. Bathroom is to a high specification. Be aware that room location signage outside the lift differs from the true sign inside the lift. Our room was noted as being on the 2nd floor outside the lift, but the 3rd floor inside. Underground car park is shown as floor -1, with reception on floor 1, there is no floor zero. A very enjoyable stay and we will be staying here again in the future.

Strangely enough, the last two times I booked into B & B it was for a funeral. So you come in late, are thankful that it's so close to the station and you leave early in the morning after two nights. No frills, highly efficient, reliable and friendly. What can I say, you don't think about it too much and this is exactly what you want, as your mind is occupied with person who just died.

The only good thing about this hotel was the reception — the man at the front desk was very kind and friendly. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was disappointing. On the way to our room, the carpet throughout the hallway and inside the room smelled really bad, it has not been cleaned properly for a long time. I don’t understand the good reviews this hotel has. The room for three people was also extremely small and not comfortable at all if you actually want to relax during your stay, also the bed is extremely narrow. To be honest, the location is inconvenient if you are not traveling by car. Walking from the station to the hotel is more difficult than expected, and there are no supermarkets or useful shops nearby on that side of Karlsruhe. I’ve stayed at other B&B hotels before and never had this kind of experience, so maybe this issue is specific to this one location.

Nice and comfortable stay. 24 hour vending machine on the lobby. Easy 5 min walk from the train station. Also, very good price for the quality!

Excellent service! In fact, I've never been so well received in my life. Affordable prices, very comfortable, and we had good communication at the reception desk. I recommend it! I will return!
