Good say at the hotel. Food is not as bad as people say. All very fresh and tasty. Maybe lay off the very traditional Portuguese dishes, we liked them but many didn’t. It’s 3 star food in a 4 star hotel. Does need to improve. Breakfast is incredible but coffee is very poor. Room was good. The aircon was not working properly. Drink selection is good. Pool area is very nice. Indoor pool is good. Gym is good. We had a massage and it was really good. Over all a good stay. We would come back if we heard things improved over all.

Excellent hotel deserves a 5* , friendly, pleasant and helpful staff. Large spacious very clean rooms, great shower and always had hot water. Comfortable beds and private balcony. Quiet at night. Good range of food for breakfast and evening meals. Outdoor space and pool area all clean and comfortable can choose pool side, garden area and more private areas too with double beds. I would definately return and recommend a stay here. The hotel itself is slightly out of town so need to be prepared to walk or get a taxi, we used bolt, buses are available and bus stop not far from the hotel but timetable is very spaced out. You can get a shuttle bus to the beach or dander round and has facilities for eating and toilet. Plenty of restaurants dotted round too, there’s a wee brunch cafe very close who had excellent toasties and there’s two supermarkets.

Absolutely love this place! Spent a week just before Easter so it wasn't packed. We booked with breakfast and evening meal and found the food and varied choices each day absolutely brilliant. The staff were always friendly, from the Receptionists to the Cleaners. Whether we chose to sit by the pool for the day, in the gardens or decking areas, there was always plenty of choice available. Situated only a 15 minute walk to the beach. If you choose not to eat at the hotel there were several Restaurant choices a short stroll away. The room we had (Junior Suite) was spacious and clean with a great shower. We were so in awe of the place we tried to extend our stay but for the Ryanair price for the rearranged flight home (Easter) To sum up, brilliant from start to finish 🥰

Just arrived from holiday at the Falesia what on earth has gone wrong with what was a beautiful hotel. As a repeat guest all the wonderful staff have left. Was told i could not eat until 8pm far too late, got it changed to 6,30pm, More like a second rate Canteen, no table cloths, napkins, wine glasses etc. 10% charge on all drinks. Disgusting quality food, pigs cheeks, what looks like cows hooves, hardly any fresh veg unless you like courgettes. Food cold. Soup like dish water. Breakfast again, not the best quality. Rooms now give you 6 hangers, 2 tea bags, 2 coffee sachets, 2 small milk and a bottle of water plus welcome red wine, which is disgusting. 10% charge on water, wine, coffee etc. No atmosphere, lots of complaints which are not taken seriously. Lift not working for three days, then broke again. Never see the new Manager, i think he goes into hiding because of all the complaints. Will no longer holiday at this hotel it has lost is lovely atmosphere and soul. Decided to have meals out as just could not face the awful food. This is not what i anticipated when i booked my holiday. Along with a large number of repeat and new guests will not be returning. To the new manager please get the Falesia back to how it was and take the complaints seriously.

Superb hotel, amazing staff, wonderful food. Just re-opened after a refurb. Looks great, the indoor pool is fabulous, the breakfast is incredible (apart from the poor coffee). Food and drinks are excellent. Cocktails are amazing, staff are top class. Plus now it has a new gym so it has pretty much everything! And crucially is peaceful and quiet (and no kids!). They just need good breakfast coffee as the breakfast is amazing but bizarrely the coffee machines at breakfast are terrible. Otherwise, five stars all round. Will definitely be back.
