What reviewers say

Visitors frequently praise the friendly and helpful staff, along with the pleasant gardens and pool areas. However, common complaints include issues with the evening buffet food quality, dated rooms, and a perceived decline in service and staff competence after recent changes. Some also mention the hotel's quiet atmosphere, which is seen as positive for relaxation but may not suit those seeking a livelier experience.

I stayed at the Falesia Hotel, Algarve Portugal for 10 nights. A few pros about the Hotel: Interior and Exterior of the Falesia Hotel 10/10. Hotel room was spacious and clean with a mini balcony. Spa Facilities e.g Indoor Swimming Pool near the Gym were fantastic. Falésia Bus accessible for Falesia Beach and other destinations Now for the cons of Falesia Hotel. 1st week of Holiday was consistent of Road Works in the hotel complex from the hours of 9:00am - 19:00pm. NO PEACE DURING DINNER HOURS. Throughout the hotel WIFI was not consistent throughout Hotel and hotel room. Tv Freezing and had to flick back and fourth several times to get TV channels to work. Continuous TV channel blackouts due to inconsistent WIFI in hotel room and near Bar section. Only Portuguese channels would work not international channels. Main Swimming Pool near main reception/ bar. Only was able to get a sun bed once out of the whole 10 days at the hotel. Other guests were claiming the sun beds during the morning / day so other people were unable to use them!. No Hammam Spa or Tennis Courts available during the Hotel stay. Had to pay for drinks at restaurant during Dinner and at Hotel Bar. Food was average 7/10 Hotel not suitable for young people. No Activities. Found it abit boring had a lot of Older Couples over 60 +. Very quiet at times. Need a car to get around area. Surroundings of Hotel very quiet and only a handful of shops available in area. Hotel wasn’t really worth it. Wouldn’t stay again!!

Our party of four had a fantastic 3-night stay. Most of the staff were outstanding, friendly, professional, and always happy to help. A special thank you to Emma at reception, who made us feel especially welcome. The facilities were excellent, everything was spotlessly clean, and the food was consistently delicious. We also really appreciated the 12:00 checkout, which made for a much more relaxed departure. A wonderful stay overall, and we wouldn't hesitate to return. Highly recommended!

Everything is in English; nobody speaks German or Russian. The beach is about 2.5 km away. The rooms and food are okay. Very quiet because children are over 16.

We recently stayed for the second time at this really lovely hotel, our first time when it was family owned, I would just like to add my thoughts on the hotel and staff, as I think the reviews from people that stayed several times before the changes have been very critical unfairly! The Hotel has had a very nice upgrade throughout the gardens are fabulous with the praire planting at the back plenty of loungers and added day beds, reception very smart, the rooms are large they are kept very clean by housekeeping staff, the restaurant has changed very little I note no table cloths but I'm not complaining, it's nothing like a canteen, now the food most people agree the breakfasts are excellent, and the evening buffet for us was more than adequate with plenty of choice. My main reason for posting this review is that I would like to give my thanks to all the staff, both my husband and I thought all the staff were naturally very helpful polite and couldn't do enough for us, I do want to give a shout out to a couple if them that made our holiday extra special, on arrival reception were so helpful we arrived early and our room wasn't quite ready the girl said she would chase it up and give us a call ASAP, we recieved a call about 30 mins later from Jose' who took our cases and showed us to our room, unfortunately due to prefence it was not suitable, Jose' couldn't have been kinder more thoughtful to us quickly showing us another room and making sure we were happy, he is perfect for his role his manner made me feel that nothing was to much trouble, the waiters were all really nice, the two guys on the buffet mains had great raport and engaging saying what the courses were, Deborah at the Spa also great manner I had an excellent massage and facial, I would also like to say thank you for the bottle of fizz and sweet treats in the room for my birthday 🎂 I would like to say I have stayed at many 5 star hotels, but I have to say for a 4 star this gives great value for money with all the amenities and the staff on top of that, both my husband and I will definitely be back, thank you for making our holiday feel special.
