Holiday Inn Leicester

The Holiday Inn Leicester is the tall IHG hotel on St Nicholas Circle, at the western edge of the city centre by the ring road, close to the cathedral, the King Richard III Visitor Centre and Highcross. Google gives it 4.3 from more than 2,000 reviews. It is a practical base with on-site parking, which most central Leicester hotels lack. The gay pubs on Dover Street and Charles Street are 15 to 20 minutes away on foot across the centre; Helsinki on Rutland Street is a little further.
