The truth is, the hotel isn't well-maintained. The closets smell strongly of damp, and the bathtub drains inadequately. The gym is pathetic. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. The lack of a restaurant is quite inconvenient. The location is excellent, close to everything, but it's only suitable for heavy sleepers because the noise and shouting at night are constant.
The hotel doesn't have individual air conditioning units, so you'll either freeze or swelter. You can't have dinner at the hotel. There's limescale in the bathrooms. And they charge top chain prices. Not recommended at all.
The rooms are very comfortable, but there is no bar service.
The rooms were standard, the bed comfortable, but there were no plugs for the bathtub. I called reception and a young man answered who couldn't help me; he was very aggressive in his responses. I was going to leave a complaint in the guestbook, but I didn't have time. He told me "there were no plugs left." I don't understand; I have a bathtub and I can't fill it to enjoy it. On top of that, he said he called other hotels to see if they had any, and they didn't. I told him they didn't have any then, and he replied, "Yes, we have some, but they're in use." It makes no sense because there should be one plug per room with a bathtub. Jorgelina, on the other hand, who checked me in, was very friendly. It was my first time there; I don't know if I'll return or if I'll go to the Amerian instead.
I was extremely happy with my stay. The hotel was beautiful, everything was very clean and comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly. The breakfast was delicious. It's very well located, but there was a lot of traffic, so choosing a room in the back was a great decision.
