I used to be skeptical of the reviews mentioning poor service on Sundays, but after my recent visit, I unfortunately understand them. When I arrived, I was given two towels, one of which had a large hole in it. I went back to ask for a replacement, and the staff member told me there were no large towels available but that I could return in about an hour for one. I then asked if the towels would be clean. This was a genuine question based on past experiences at this location, where I’ve occasionally received towels that did not appear properly cleaned. The staff member responded in a mocking and dismissive tone, suggesting my question was unreasonable and silly. I later clarified that my concern came from a prior incident (about two months ago) when I was given a towel that had what appeared to be dried blood on it, which I had reported at the time. Instead of addressing the concern, he dismissed it outright. This interaction felt unprofessional and uncomfortable, especially given that I was asking a reasonable question about hygiene. Cleanliness and respectful communication are basic expectations in a facility like a sauna. On a positive note, I’ve had consistently only good experiences with another staff member who works on weekdays, who is courteous and professional. Unfortunately, this contrast makes the negative experience stand out even more. Based on this visit, I now understand why some customers prefer to avoid coming on Sundays.

Love it. Not your usual gay sauna vibe. It's an authentic Russian bath, you can go to wind down and do the water circuit. Great to relax, interactions definitely not a must but if you feel like it there's definitely opportunities. People are friendly and respectful. I like that's it's well lit. Antonio gives his 200%, it's always impeccable service. The other guy who works during the week is very good too. But I can't say the same of the one who sometimes work on Sundays. He is often rude with customers and doesn't take care of keeping the jacuzzi hot. It's bad enough that I avoid going on days that he is working, unfortunately.

Would be nice if it stayed open more late

My expectations weren’t very high. This is a place that has been around for years—let’s call it “vintage.” It’s not located in the Village, nor is it advertised anywhere. Honestly, the place pleasantly surprised me. It’s very clean, there’s no loud or overwhelming music, and the people who use the facilities are friendly, relaxed, and wonderfully diverse. In short, I loved it, and it’s going to become my new go-to spot for weekend recreation.

Reviews and redditors led me to expect something much more dingy. The place was clean and bright, great steam, whirlpool, lots of great guys and a super friendly vibe.
