Delicious comfort food and tasty drinks! Crispy & Juicy fried chicken which is surprisingly difficult to find in PV. Familiar sauces and some tasty surprises. Friendly staff. Thanks y’all!

I ordered the chicken fried steak. DO NOT make the same mistake. It is one of my favorite meals and have tried hundreds all across the country. This has to be one of the worse. Breading was like a lose sock, pale and flavorless. The meat was a grey, slimy, grisly mess. The only good things were the staff and my cocktail (tropical old fashioned).

I must have had 30 blue plates in the last year. I love this place so much. It’s such a great addition to Puerto Vallarta’s massive restaurant scene. Staff and food are incredible. Try the maple butter. :) I’ve never been to Nashville but I imagine this is what it feels like! Thanks Gina and team! Well done!

We really enjoyed our experience at Whiskey Kitchen PV. The martinis and margaritas were excellent and the food was some of the best comfort food we’ve had in Puerto Vallarta. The chicken was outstanding and the sides were just as good. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Looking forward to going back to try breakfast next time.

Even more important than having the best fried chicken in town, Gina (the owner) constantly goes above and beyond for her customers, staff and the Vallarta community at large. She treats us like family and puts her whole heart into everything she does and it shows. Back to the food jajajaja... The ribs are also the best I've found in Vallarta. WK has one of the best happy hours going with food specials too. Really, I've enjoyed everything I've eaten there and it's awesome to have a place that scratches the southern food itch. My two young daughters love it too and they often have very good live music. Thanks WK for being so much more than just the best fried chicken (and ribs) in town!

One of our fave eateries in Puerto Vallarta! This is where we go for supper on our first night every time we are back! The food is delicious, the drinks are great, there is often live entertainment, and Gina and her staff are delightfu! Try the Mac & cheese. And the shrimp! And the chicken! It’s all good. 😊

EDIT: Based on the owners response on telling me how I should have treated this situation and defending their staffs actions, I will not be back to this restaurant. Please, hand out to future customers what YOU find acceptable for reviews. Tried to go to the new location. Entered and all the staff was sitting at a back table (I think they were eating). We stood there, in an empty restaurant, with the staff staring at us. Not once did someone ask to help us. We finally asked if they were open, and a woman hesitantly stood up and said there was only fried chicken. ????? With the attitude and the non-acknowledgment, we left and definitely will not come back.

Came here wanting American comfort food after a long beach day and ended up having one of those unexpectedly memorable solo dinners. The cheeseburger was genuinely excellent and the lineup of house sauces was such a nice surprise — especially the maple cream sauce, which sounds odd but somehow completely works. What I liked most though was the feeling of the place. Cozy, personal, and clearly run with a lot of care. I walked over from Mantamar (a longer walk than expected 😅), sat down by myself, had a very good cocktail, and ended up really glad I came. If you’re in PV and craving comfort food, definitely worth checking out.

Update your address on the Uber Eats app. It's sending delivery drivers along Francisco Villa, way too far from where you are. Nobody is going to pick up the orders because it's not the correct address. You're going to lose customers who order through the app.
