Hotel Saint Cecilia

Exceptional stay at Hotel Saint Cecilia. We were so impressed with everything. The staff greeted us and walked us straight to our room to check in from our parking space. The bartender was friendly and an expert at his craft. The pool was the perfect place to unwind. We loved having room service delivered to our patio in the morning. There was an exceptional musician and petting zoo for Mother’s Day brunch. It set a perfect vibe for my wife and kids on Mother’s Day. Beautiful property, great staff, can’t wait to stay again!

Great little boutique hotel right downtown Austin! So enjoyed the location, the staff was super attentive and the food amazing! I highly recommend!

I cannot recommend this property enough. I planned a team retreat here for 10 people and everything was amazing. We were so impressed by the hospitality of the whole staff - constantly attentive, kind, and helpful! The food and drinks were always great and the lounge is such a cozy place to hang out. And, the local gym we have access to is an awesome perk/amenity. The entire team had a great time. I would happily stay here again anytime I’m in Austin. My only regret is not buying myself their custom made robes.

My stay at Hotel Saint Cecilia was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, the staff made me feel like the only guest on the property, attending to every need with genuine warmth and professionalism. The hotel itself is a design masterpiece—a perfect blend of rock 'n roll glamour and serene luxury. My room was a beautiful sanctuary, complete with a vintage record player and access to the lobby's vinyl library, which was such a fun and unique touch. Highlights of my stay: * Exceptional Staff: Every interaction with the staff, from the front desk to the bartenders by the pool, was fantastic. They were knowledgeable, eager to please, and really went above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. Ryan was exceptionally charming and full of property knowledge. I found myself telling my friends random facts about the hotel lol. * Luxurious Amenities: The legendary Hästens bed provided the most incredible sleep I've ever had, and the custom kimono robes and Le Labo/Grown Alchemist toiletries made the experience feel incredibly indulgent. The bathtub… oh my that tub will remain in my dreams until my next stay. * Delicious Dining: I enjoyed a tasty coquito and delicious Salmon, all delivered with impeccable service to my room. Hotel Saint Cecilia isn't just a place to stay; it's a completely immersive and luxurious experience. I can't wait to return to this magical retreat!

This is a three star hotel at a five star price. This hotel is classified as a five star property on its Google profile, but nothing about my experience matched that standard. Ultimately, the property feels poorly managed by an inexperienced hospitality team. This surprised me because this is a Hyatt property. Our room lacked appropriate lighting, which made it very uncomfortable just to see. Makeup in the bathroom, impossible. (No lighted vanity mirror, which I'd expect from a five star hotel). To get any kind of light in the room (during the day), you can open the shades. But this is a one-story hotel. So you don't have any privacy with the shades open. People are just walking by a few feet away. Our room also did not have a full-length mirror, did not have a coffee machine, and it did not have an iron / ironing board. When we requested an iron, it took the staff over 24 hours to produce one. My husband and I are early risers, and they don't offer room service until 7am. So we were not able to get coffee in the morning when we woke up. This is the first time I've stayed at a nice hotel that doesn't have a coffee machine in the room. And without 24 hour room service, this is totally unacceptable under a five star label. The property itself is pretty (although the swimming pool is not clean) and the hotel is well positioned just steps away from fun on South Congress. And they do offer access to a wonderful gym just a short walk away (the Kollective). Those were the only positives I can think of. The cost ended up being $900 per night for a room that was pretty uncomfortable and a friendly but incompetent staff. Would absolutely not return and I'm very confused by the good reviews. Again, this is a three star hotel at a five star price. Designed for Instagram over comfort.

A wonderful stay from start to finish. Beautiful grounds, free parking (a rarity), pet friendly rooms and warm service. All literally a stone’s throw from South Congress, one of Austin’s best hotels!!!

Seems like a very nice property and was seriously considering a stay until I ran into a common issue with parking information. Unfortunately, parking information is suspiciously missing on their website directly. Potential future customers must somehow navigate to a secret menu via the Hyatt website to obtain this information. I somehow accidentally stumbled upon this menu with their parking included. One of the biggest issues with discovery on redirected hotel sites. Here's part of what the this menu states, "Availability for parking in our lot is not guaranteed, but alternative options include paid street parking and paid parking next door at Arlyn Studios, 200 Academy Drive." Haven't stayed here and am a hard out based primarily on no guaranteed on-site parking. For most of us who live here in Texas, we usually drive to destinations within the state. So, on-site parking is a must. So, transparency on parking and any associated parking fees will always be a requirement of this avid traveler. At these rates, can't image having to potentially park my vehicle on the street wherever, then not knowing how far I'll have to walk to get to and from vehicle. It begs the question, how does a property of this caliber not know ahead of time if they'll have available on-site parking for their guests?

I don’t even know where to begin, other than, do your research. They were atrocious. Start to finish. I don’t know if it was because it was after a busy weekend, or what. I showed up with my son, paid top dollar and won’t be returning. Spend your money elsewhere.
