The Campbell House Inn

I love this place. Their breakfast is really good, and it honestly makes up for whatever extra they cost compared to other hotels in the area. It eliminates the need to look for breakfast while you're staying with them, and both the indoor and outdoor dining areas are quaint. The rooms are clean, and the staff is friendly. The hotel garden is nice, and the hotel is near the river if more nature scenery is desired. The hotel is essentially an old house so it has a lot of quirks and charms, especially with the layout. I enjoy these types of things, but I also have family members that would dislike non-linear layouts and older construction.

The sweetest little bed and breakfast, right in the heart of Eugene! We had the best short stay here and couldn’t recommend it enough. The check-in associate was incredibly kind, even offering to show us other rooms before we made our choice. He was very accommodating, friendly, and helpful. Upon check-in, you receive a free glass of wine and one additional glass for each night you stay. They also had non-alcoholic options, which was very thoughtful. We stayed in the carriage house, and our room was cozy. One small thing that could be improved is that there were only three pillows, and they were fairly uncomfortable. The TV remote also didn’t work well, and the TVs are a bit dated. However, these are very minor things. The highlight of our stay was, by far, the breakfast. You start off with coffee, then have five different fresh juice options to choose from. They bring out a fresh scone and fresh fruit, we had a cinnamon white chocolate scone that was delicious. Lastly, you can choose from a sweet or savory option. The sweet option was a waffle with cinnamon slow-cooked apples, cream cheese, and cinnamon mousse. The savory option was eggs Benedict. Both were served with delicious thick-cut bacon. You truly will have the most restful and relaxing stay here. I can’t recommend it enough!

Homey and very friendly staff. Rooms are clean and grounds are beautiful. Right on Skinner Butte, just a couple blocks from downtown and the Willamette River.

This is a tiny gem of an authentic BnB that should not be missed. After staying here I was honestly surprised we were able to even find availability. I would expect this quaint little storybook of an in to be booked 110% of the time. The property is beautiful and well maintained and beautifully decorated. The people are hard-working and attentive and friendly. And the breakfast is really outstanding. I would expect to pay the price of the room just for the breakfast. Everything was so nice. I had to go back and read the negative reviews to find out what it was that people didn't like. "The train noise." Yes, you can hear the train, just like you can anywhere in downtown Eugene. It's charming and quaint. "The rooms are small." Yes, the upstairs attic rooms are small. But the downstairs rooms are large. It depends on what you book. "The walls are not soundproof" I was really surprised at how quiet it is, considering the fact that it's an old house. Yes, you are aware but there are other people but it's not intrusive. It's certainly much quieter than staying in the guest room of anybody's house that I know of.

I found the Campbell House on Expedia and didn’t know what to expect but it surpassed my lodging standards completely. Everything from the safe parking, walkability to downtown, the beautiful garden oasis surrounding the property, the historic buildings, to the homemade breakfast. 10/10. I was actually sad to leave because I wanted to try another breakfast. They accommodated my Gluten-Free allergy with one of the best eggs Benedict’s I’ve ever had. Found my new Eugene oasis! 😍

A delightful, historical Bed and Breakfast in Eugene with ownership that have a surprisingly strong resume in the hospitality industry...and, it shows. The cookies are a wonderful touch in the lobby, and, though I didn't stay long enough for breakfast to be served, I could imagine what a nice experience that would be while looking out the large Victorian bay windows! I'll be back!

Absolutely stunning and extremely comfortable. I was greeted by a lovely staff member rather early afternoon on 10/14. She was very welcoming and helpful. The beds are bery comfortable. Be careful with steps and odd little potential places to lose your step if downstairs is Cogswell room! The breakfast is DELIGHTFUL! I think I am serving time would be better. It seemed as if the very kind lady rushed in a bit around 7:30, so breakfast isn't exactly even on time. If you're attending a training or conference, this is challenging. It's such wonderful experience with delicious food that i really wanted to have time to soak in the space. Visitors were friendly with each other. Absolutely beautiful property! Hope to return! Thank you!

What a great find! The bed-and-breakfast is quaint and beautiful and everyone who works there really goes over and above to treat guests very well. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was delicious and savory and the coffee was bold and enjoyable. The only downside is the train in the middle of the night but other guests who stayed in the carriage house said they did not hear it. Recommend taking earplugs but worth it.

Very nice alternative to a typical hotels, we felt like sleeping in museum 😁👍 Beatiful surroundings, the stuff that work there are very friendly and helpful. Please give a raise to a cook, our breakfast was phenomenal, seriously!! Definitely looking forward to comeback someday!

What a treat to find this sweet boutique B&B/Inn. The rooms were clean, charming and well designed. The bed was SUPER comfortable. I had an early bike ride the next day so they delivered a boxed breakfast to my room complete with a mini coffee maker with excellent coffee already ground and ready to go (and real half and half!). They also have a complimentary glass of wine ready for you in the evening. What is not to love? Gorgeous grounds and walkable to many restaurants. If I'm back in Eugene, I will stay again!
