University Plaza Hotel & Convention Center

15$ for breakfast. It's free at every other hotel in the planet. Absolutely ridiculous. Rooms are severely dated. Had to call three times to get towels and still had to go to the front desk and get them ourselves. The lobby is beautiful, but this is the ONLY nice thing about this hotel.

Carpet in room needs updated. Need more luggage carts. Could not use outside pool there was a cleaning robot in pool at 7pm and it was just setting in the middle of the pool.

They act like everyone is going to steal everything, doesn't make you want to come back

It is true that this hotel is older but it's downtown location and attentive staff make it a great place to get a room for the weekend. Close to Springfield highlights such as the road that plays america the beautiful!

The indoor pool was closed and not working, nor was it heated to a temperature that was usable. Room 514 with a king bed for one night was $117, no breakfast included roared like a 747 all night. I asked for a refund and will dispute the charges on my card due to the noise and closed unusable pool.

We purposely booked into the hotel so that we could watch Australia play Turkey in the Workd Cup Group D ( We are Australian) At halt time around midnight the TV failed( No Signal) due to weather event. I went to Reception and was ably assisted by John. He got the game up and running on TV in Lobby / Restaurant( admittedly in Spanish but this did not matter to a Football/ Soccer purist) John was helpful and professional throughout . He should be commended for his “ hospitality work ethic” Please pass on my thanks to him Regards Colin

I come in to the coffee shop on a regular basis and Jess and Shauna are always friendly and professional. In short, they are great!
