El Cortez Hotel and Casino

Absolutely love this place! Always been one of my favorites! The whole vibe and the staff is amazing! 😁

Did not stay here but visited this casino in early Feb '26, had dinner and purchased sunglasses in the gift shop. Enjoyed the casino and the dinner very much. However, just a few days ago, I received aa couple charges from Cortez casino. So it appears that my card was scammed there when I was there in Feb.

Had an amazing experience at the Showbar inside El Cortez Hotel & Casino. The atmosphere was fun, lively, and exactly the kind of place you want to spend a great night out. A huge part of what made the visit so memorable was the bartender, Mikele. She was incredibly friendly, fast, and genuinely made everyone feel welcome at the bar. Even when it got busy, she stayed on top of everything without missing a beat, all while keeping a great attitude and making the experience enjoyable for everyone around. It honestly felt like she helped set the tone for the whole night. Great service, great energy, and a really fun vibe overall. If you’re in Vegas, you definitely need to stop by the Showbar at EL Cortez and see Mikele in action. She really makes the experience worth it, and I’d absolutely go back again just because of how great she was.

Spent 400 in casino, never offered a complimentary drink.

El Cortez is always a good bet for downtown. Just off Fremont, it is quiet enough to sleep but close enough to access everything the FSE has to offer. Rooms are clean and we’re ready when we arrived. Bellman Tony and cocktail server Liz were always a delight!

Old school hotel and casino with slots that let u play and decent dining options. The rooms are very nice with walk in showers. They have a few slots that pay in tokens. All the employees are very friendly. They also have a limo that will take you back to the airport, first come first serve. This is an adults only hotel and casino.

Came to the Parlor bar at El Cortez and bartenders Emilio and Carolina were there and they were fantastic! Had a great time and will definitely be back!
