Our stay at Manayunk Chambers Guest House was PERFECT! Mark is an exceptional host, offering delightful breakfasts and caring for his guests' every need. Located on a quiet street in Manayunk, easy walking distance to fabulous restaurants, a stone's throw away from Manayunk's Tow Path, and close to some of Philly's best parks and landmarks, this is a Philadelphia GEM!

We had a fantastic stay. The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and service was impeccable. We hung out in the lounge and played a game in the evening. All in all, a very pleasant experience.

I can't say enough good things about Manayunk Chambers Guest House. I will start with Mark Jerde, the innkeeper. Seriously, I have never felt so welcomed and taken care of. Mark is a very thoughtful and kind person. He has thought of everything. My room was very comfortable and clean. The bed was very comfortable too. The bathroom had both a fabulous shower and an old fashion claw foot bathtub. But the breakfast, the breakfast were out of this world. Mark is a baker delux. Every morning I was met was a basket of all kinds of delcious and beautiful pasteries, homemade granola, and fresh fruit. It was surely a lovely way to start the day. Thank you Mark.

Breakfast was a highlight—Mark is truly a pastry genius! He accommodated our gluten- and dairy-free requests and still wowed us (the scones were unforgettable). The little details stood out too: thoughtful touches throughout the house and Mark’s genuine pride in making everything just right. On top of that, he shared great insights about Manayunk and Philly, which made our trip even richer. Cozy, delicious, and memorable—this is a must-stay in Philadelphia!

This Bread & Breakfast is quite a gem! The Innkeeper goes out of his way to attend to the details that help you feel at home. He offers the highest quality of hospitality! The house, which is very clean, has comfortable beds and sits in a quiet neighborhood that's a short walk to downtown Manyunk. The Innkeeper applies his attention to detail as he provides a delicious breakfast with only the freshest ingredients and plates it all so beautifully. He also makes an outstanding cappuccino or espresso for you each day of your stay; no need to visit a local coffeeshop. This lovely home will not disappoint!

Our stay at Manayunk Chambers Guest House was wonderful. The house has charm, the bed was very comfortable, and there’s so much to walk to and explore nearby. Mark, the owner, was very welcoming and made an amazing breakfast including homemade baked goods and fresh cut fruit. It was a perfect start to the day and the hospitality was amazing.

Had a lovely weekend stay here. So convenient to the SEPTA regional rail (as long as you can walk up a bit of a steep hill). Really felt like a good value for money. Gluten free preference at breakfast was easily accommodated with tasty GF breads.

My husband and I had a wonderful time staying at Manayunk Chambers. We were visiting friends in the area and were not sure where we were going to stay. On a whim we chose the inn. Mark, the inn keeper, was great. He was a wonderful host in every way, welcoming us, helping to navigate through the area, sharing community history, providing a clean and comfortable environment, and providing us with a fresh and delicious breakfast each morning. He took the time to find out our food and coffee preferences and exceeded our expectations during our stay. If you are traveling and want more than just a place to stay, then check out Manayunk Chambers Inn. It was one of the highlights of our trip.

What a wonderful stay at the Manayunk Chambers Guest House. Mark made sure our stay was everything it should be and more. The home was lovely and accommodations excellent. And the breakfast was outstanding and so delicious. Highly recommend!

Everything about the Manayunk Chambers Guest House was fabulous. Mark made sure our stay was peaceful and comfortable. The baked goods are sublime, and the character and charm of the house is unmatched. It's an easy walk to the Main Street which has lots of shops and restaurants + is not far from the SEPTA station to get into Center City. Great stay!

This place is amazing!! The rooms are beautiful and very clean. Wonderful rain shower with a claw foot tub. The art and decorations were mesmerizing. The 4 poster bed was a work of art and really comfy. Mark is phenomenal, he's friendly and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. The breakfast is too die for, fresh fruit dishes with greek yogurt that tasted like a cheesecake. Fresh baked breads, scones, and croissants that are still warm when he brings them out. Literally the ONLY issue i could think of was parking can be a little tricky since it's (free) street parking. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay anywhere around Manayuck!!

A lovely generous and perfect short stay. Mark is one of the best, most welcoming inn keepers I’ve met. He could not have been more helpful. From waiting for us outside to arrive, to insisting on helping with our bags, to the incredible amenities he offered (open local beer, wine, chocolate, snacks, all kinda of cold drinks, etc) and dinner recommendations that proved perfect. We had a phenomenal Thai meal and his breakfast with fresh homemade baked goods, fruit and homemade granola was superior. The room was very comfortable and the place had that charming Victorian feel. Manayunk is a fantastic neighborhood and I highly recommend this as a stay experience.
