O Seattle's Gay and Lesbian Book Club se reúne desde 2009, oferecendo aos leitores LGBTQ+ um lugar para se conectar através de um livro. Todo mês, o clube escolhe um livro e depois se reúne para conversar sobre ele. É uma maneira tranquila de conhecer os moradores locais e ouvir o que eles pensam. Se você está na cidade apenas por alguns dias, é uma oportunidade genuína de trocar ideias. As reuniões acontecem nas noites de quarta-feira, das 18h às 19h15. Você não precisa ser um membro regular; novos participantes são bem-vindos. É uma ótima alternativa a um bar se você procura uma noite fora que seja mais sobre conversa do que sobre coquetéis. O clube fica em Seattle, e é o tipo de grupo que faz uma comunidade parecer real, longe dos pontos comerciais habituais. Venha pelos livros, fique pela companhia.

We visited many bookstores this trip to Seattle, but Elliott Bay was the clear favorite. Best selection, best recommendations, excellent layout and reading spaces, and even had an author event that drew a lot of people the night we dropped in.
