Alina Gandini is an Argentine singer, pianist, and composer with an extensive career in popular music and Argentine rock. Daughter of the renowned composer and pianist Gerardo Gandini, she began her musical studies at a young age and developed a career that led her to share stages and projects with fundamental figures of the national scene. Between 1994 and 1997, she was part of Fito Páez's band as a backing vocalist and keyboardist, participating in tours across Argentina, Latin America, the United States, and Europe, and in the albums Euforia and Mi vida con ellas.

In 1999, she formed Ácida with Tweety González, a project through which she explored a combination of her own songs and electronic sounds. Her album La vida real, released in 2005, was produced by Chris Allison and had subsequent international distribution. Gandini also developed her solo career with works such as El rock es mi forma de ser, released in 2008, which featured collaborations from artists like Andrés Calamaro, Charly García, Gustavo Cerati, and Fito Páez.
