Tomi Lago at Biri Biri

Next Saturday, August 29th, Tomi Lago will present his new album Solo por hoy live at Biri Biri, Buenos Aires. The show will start at 8 PM, and members of Comunidad Indie Hoy will receive a 25% discount on their tickets.

Tomi Lago is an Argentine singer and songwriter who has built his artistic identity through the dialogue between tango, national rock, and urban song. With a career linked to bars, bodegas, milongas, and independent venues, in 2023 he released El Consorcio, his debut album, and has since deepened a sonic exploration marked by Porteño melancholy and everyday life stories.

In 2026, Lago is entering a new phase with Solo por hoy, his second studio album, released on July 22nd. The album features nine songs and represents an evolution of his proposal, combining elements of Argentine rock with the sensitivity and forms of tango. His songs explore the streets of Buenos Aires, bar nights, relationships, breakups, and the search for hope amidst uncertainty.

The album also features collaborations with Fonso, Isla de Caras, and Cucuza Castiello, reinforcing the crossover between different generations and scenes of Argentine music. Among its songs are “Buzios”, “Monstruo”, “Una soga”, “Vieja viola”, “Moretones”, “Llamaste”, and “Para qué”.
