About this place Cilene del Faro Suites & Spa

Cilene del Faro is a modern suites-and-spa hotel a short walk from the waterfront, with an indoor pool, spa and generously sized suites. It sits in the quieter streets just above the port. Rated 4.6 on Google from over a thousand guests, it is a comfortable upper-mid choice. Tierra del Fuego's tourism board actively promotes Ushuaia as an LGBTQ+ friendly destination, and same-sex marriage has been legal across Argentina since 2010, so welcoming service for gay and lesbian travellers is standard here.

The room had an incredible view. There weren't enough curtains in the main living area and some cutlery, but since there were only two of us, we managed. The shower was fantastic, and everything was super spacious! The staff were excellent, always very attentive, and they even let us store our luggage and skis. The breakfast was delicious! The jacuzzi was hot, but the pool was quite lukewarm (bordering on cold). That might be an area for improvement, but everything else was excellent!

Beautiful! We've been coming here for at least 9 years, sometimes without a child, sometimes with a child, and sometimes as a family with my mother-in-law. Always highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel, the only downside was the room we were given, number 106, which had a street view. It was on the first floor. Everything else was very nice, though not cheap, but it's worth it.

Excellent hotel for a great time in Ushuaia. We were greeted by Víctor, a true gem: the service is superb, and he also knows a ton about tourist and mountain activities and has plenty of recommendations. The hotel rooms are very comfortable apartments with great views of the Beagle Channel or the city. They have a good kitchen, and if you need any extra utensils, they'll provide them free of charge. You can regulate the heating from your room, so you won't be too hot or too cold at night. There are board games and books to enjoy in any of the comfortable lounges or in your apartment. The spa is also very well-equipped and a welcome treat after a day of mountain climbing. During breakfast, all kinds of drinks and food are available upon request to start your day with plenty of energy. Everything was lovely, highly recommended.

Excellent location. Warm and close to everything. The rooms have kitchens, which is a big plus.
