Hotel Gran Aurum

It doesn't have a restaurant; almost all services have an extra cost.

We stayed for 5 days. First, they put us in a room, and when I looked at the Booking.com reservation, it said we had a jacuzzi. I complained, and they said it was true, so we moved. It was cold, so we asked for a heater, and they told us it would be 30 bolivianos per day. We accepted, but it didn't heat anything; it was leaking oil. My partner complained and said they wouldn't pay. If you're in a hurry and need to shower, let me tell you, you have to get ready two hours beforehand because the hot water seems like it's being heated on a fire! 😂 I hate to complain because the rooms are comfortable and nice, but they really need to liven them up because, literally, when you walk in, it feels like you're about to film a horror movie. The hotel was under construction, and if they don't get their act together, they'll end up closing. I think they should really make better use of the space or change the sign and say it's a 1-star hotel. Despite everything, the staff was very friendly. I imagine they're not to blame for everything and the embarrassment. They'll come up with every complaint... Good luck, and I hope it improves because the prices aren't low...

This is the worst place I've ever been to for a swimming pool. Some people left as soon as they arrived. First of all, the pool was disgusting, overcrowded, and they didn't respect the children's pool. It was cold. The hygiene was appalling. I don't recommend it. And the worst part is, they advertise the pools as if they were huge, but they're barely two by two meters. My brother hurt his face diving in. The lockers were tiny. The showers were clogged, and the water was stagnant. Please don't go if you don't want to get an allergic reaction.

Run away!!!! They charge more for the pool and don't mention it + the pool is only open on Saturdays from noon

We were a delegation of athletes for a weekend, the attention, friendliness, cleanliness and rooms were all excellent 💯 recommended.

I came to Bolivia because I needed to complete some paperwork and it was only a 10-minute drive from the Venezuelan embassy. The experience was pleasant. The staff was very friendly, the facilities were spacious, and the rooms were clean. There are shops nearby for buying food and household items. If I return to Bolivia, I would stay here again. I recommend it. I recommend booking through the Despegar app to get a good discount.
