Decadent and unpleasant environment. A foul odor in the bathroom and sauna. I stayed for 20 minutes and couldn't stand it. I do not recommend it.

In my opinion, for what it sets out to do, it's one of the best saunas in Brazil.

Only 1 steam sauna in poor condition, staff are NOT welcoming ANYWHERE (when I arrived I knocked on the gate several times and nobody opened it, a customer who was outside opened it, upon entering I found the receptionist lying on a sofa watching TV, I went to the bar to order a drink and the attendant who was chatting with another employee seemed like he wanted to kill me with his eyes for bothering him).

I judge the place according to its concept; California is a sauna focused on male escorts, and in that respect, I think it fulfills its role well. It has many handsome and interesting male escorts, some very good-looking guys. The staff aren't as friendly as those at Tres Chic, but they're not terrible either; I think it could be improved. It only has a steam sauna; I've never seen the dry sauna working. Party and karaoke days are very lively. The sauna's massage therapist gives an excellent relaxing massage. I only missed having a swimming pool, even a small one.
