Holiday Inn Express Concepcion by IHG

The hotel is wonderful; it's small, away from the center, but there's a shopping mall across the street. There was only one problem: I had requested a mini-fridge, but it wasn't in the room when I arrived, so I couldn't store some things that needed to be kept cold. This was resolved the next day. The breakfast was plentiful, although the dining area was a bit small. I felt a little self-conscious being watched by the staff, as if they were trying to make me feel uncomfortable while I enjoyed the buffet (maybe I was being paranoid). But that's just my impression. The bed was comfortable, and the room service was excellent.

The breakfast service is a disaster, chaotic, overcrowded, and cramped. There's not enough staff; on Saturday, May 23, 2026, the supervisor just walked around and looked around, but nothing improved, and he offered no help. There was very little variety, and the scrambled eggs were practically runny.

For my one-night business trip, it was excellent. Conveniently located near the airport. The room was on the second floor with a view of the mall. It was well soundproofed, and the bed was very comfortable. The service was good, and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good. The rate was in line with the hotel's level of service. I will definitely stay again.

A hotel with the 3 B's (good, beautiful, and cheap): very good breakfast buffet, well-equipped and clean rooms.

A hotel that maintains the high standards of the Holiday Inn hotel chain, with good infrastructure and comfortable rooms, making it a recommended place to stay.
