I highly recommend staying at this small, colonial-style hotel in Arequipa. Stylish, super-clean rooms, a quiet neighborhood, a delicious breakfast with a view of the Misti volcano, and a very friendly host who was eager to share stories about the area. We had a wonderful time there.
Very clean and friendly. Great roof top.
Definitely recommend this hotel in Arequipa. The house was beautiful and the room was very nice. The bed was easily the most common bed that I've slept on over the last 2.5 months in South America. The breakfast was great (fresh fruits, bread, eggs, cheese, coffee or tea, and freshly made juice) and is served on the rooftop terrace. The terrace has beautiful views over the city and to the mountains (when it's clear enough). It takes less than 15 mins to walk to the central plaza and it felt really safe doing so both during the day and at night (I wasn't out particularly late but everything was good at ~10-11 at night). The staff was super friendly and welcoming. It was a great experience!
Everything is great with Casa Arequipa. Yes the rooms are good size, beds are comfortable. Water pressure is good and with hot water. Breakfast is fruit and eggs and bread. And breakfast is on terrace with volcano views. Had coffee there every morning. The best part though are the people. Super nice and very hospitable! It is a 15 minute walk (a little up hill) to the center. But the area is quite and windows are updated. Ubers were easy to get and use as well, not an issue.
I stayed here for two nights and a third night I left my things while I was on a trekking tour. The walls are a little thin and it is a 15 minute walk to the main plaza. I was in Peru for 10 days and this by far was my favorite place that I stayed. The room was adorable and well maintained. It was very clean and had a comfortable bed. You can buy bottled water at the front desk which is extremely convenient. The included breakfast on the rooftop exceeded my expectations and had a beautiful view. What really stood out was the customer service. Everyone I talked to was so kind and helpful. They went above and beyond in making me feel welcome even as I was checking out. If would stay here again and recommend them to anyone looking to stay in Arequipa.
