América Alcalá, a teacher nearing retirement, decides to help Daniela, one of her students, whose behavior has raised concerns at school. To do this, she organizes a series of tutoring sessions with Ortiz, the teenager's father. What begins as a meeting to discuss the young woman's education soon turns into a humorous duel of personalities. However, behind these disagreements, family secrets and long-held emotions will begin to surface, leading the story through a series of twists as unexpected as they are moving.
