Casaroma Hostels Miraflores

I slept in the 6-person Hostel room. 2 streets from the shopping center, Ocean Beach. Beautiful garden, well-equipped kitchen. Helpful staff. I spent the Hungarian and Peruvian 2026 elections here.

Nicely decorated quiet hostel with a good size private room. Good location. Most showers didn’t work only the one downstairs in the yard, the rest were cold! The older lady at reception made our experience sour as she is very controlling over the atmosphere, didn’t enjoy it too much because of her!

Casaroma is a very nice hostel located a short walk from the center of Miraflores / Kennedy Park area. We had a private room, and were mostly happy with this. A little hot at night as the fan in the room was not mounted on the wall, but had to be on the floor. Shared bathroom, good shower. Very nice staff who speak some limited English, but who are easy to communicate with if you also speak a little Spanish.

It's very well located in a popular tourist area of ​​Lima. The price-quality ratio is excellent. The breakfast isn't very varied, but it's adequate.

We've been scammed. They made me pay an extra $15 to stay in my two-person room. This is outrageous for tourists; it's an additional charge on top of what Booking.com states. We will be filing a formal complaint and leaving a negative review on every possible platform.

I stayed here for two nights, but I was unlucky. My room (No. 1) was next to the entrance, so I was woken up every time a guest checked in in the middle of the night. While the bell ringing is understandable, I wondered if it was appropriate for the staff to speak loudly at reception in the middle of the night. I repeatedly asked them to be quieter during the night, and the next day I asked to be moved to a different room, but they refused. During my two-night stay, I was kept awake by the sounds of guests chatting with each other at 1:00 AM, 2:00 AM, and 6:00 AM. They offered no apology and were quite rude, so I looked for a new hostel. The only saving grace was that they offered a refund when I canceled. However, I wasted a lot of time and money by changing hostels. It showed no respect for guests during their stay, and it was the worst experience I had in Lima.

The receptionist has absolutely no empathy, is completely ignorant of the required travel documents, and only demands a passport, ignoring the Mercosur agreement. Beware, this place is a hotbed of discrimination.

This hostel is very cool ! Do not trust any bad reviews. Rooms are nice, modern and clean. The staff is friendly and lovely. The amenities are great. The location is perfect. I recomend it 100%

Except the woman who serve the breakfast is very kind and helpful. The old man who stayed at the front desk is very hard to communicate. There is no laundry and private bathroom, poor soundproofing, also there is no body lotion and shampoo, you need to pay for extra to get a little one. And also no need to get a pick up from hotel, very expensive and not worth it

Booked this room for 3 nights and left in 5 hours . The staff is great helped me arrange for an airport taxi , location is great , breakfast is basic 2 buns , 2 eggs and coffee . My room was not clean, had severe mold smell and bedsheets had hair and stains from previous usage . The receptionist helped change the sheet and blanket with me . I felt sick in the single room by the garden and the mold stench is horrible . It was great that they returned my money for the next two days but this unclean room wasted my day at Lima . I hope they clean it
