It's not great for what it offers and the prices. Edo is better. Plus, the service isn't good.

Way too expensive for what it is. I ordered ramen, but got dry noodles covered in butter and cheese with a little shrimp and scallop on top. It tasted like something I'd make drunk at 2 a.m., except I paid S/100 for it. No one spoke English, and the staff mostly ignored the tables while chatting among themselves. They were also really snobby, which made me feel uncomfortable eating alone. The place looks fancy, but the food and service aren't worth the price. S/100 for seafood-dressed-up drunk noodles is ridiculous. ————————————- Too expensive for what they actually offer. I ordered ramen expecting a real bowl of ramen, but they brought me dry noodles smothered in butter and cheese, with a few prawns and scallops on top. It was something I could easily make drunk at 2 a.m., except here I paid S/100 for the privilege. The language barrier also complicated the experience, as no one could help me in English. Furthermore, the staff spent almost all their time chatting amongst themselves instead of attending to the tables, so the service felt quite neglected. The restaurant tries to project a modern and sophisticated experience, but neither the food nor the service justifies the prices. S/100 for some boozy noodles disguised as a gourmet dish seems excessive to me.

Had the tuna ceviche which was very good. I liked it! The makis however were a bit disappointing, sadly. I might be overly strict as I may have just chosen the wrong ones but the fillings were the same for all 3 of them (ebi tempura and avocado) and the toppings were: parmesan (which i didnt like but that can happen, its personal taste, no fault of the chef), acevichado and another one. The fillings were the same and for the last two the toppings were also almost the same: both had miso mayo (which is great but it overpowers the flavours after a few bites) and one had potato sticks and the other some roe. If you come here for makis, please dont make the same mistake as I did and make sure to read the description on the menu properly, otherwise you end up with sushi that is essentially the same :) I still want to give 4 stars because the service was attentive, the dishes arrived fast and, again, may have been my mistake for not reading properly!

The Royal and the Le Truffe makis were 10/10. An explosion of delightful flavors; however, both took 30 minutes each to arrive. It felt like the waiters wanted to get you off the table as quickly as possible. A drink called Mandalima was disappointing considering it cost more than the Royal bao.

A very pleasant surprise! The food was great. The ceviche was excellent, as were the nigiri, maki, etc... I recommend it.
