Everything was wonderful. I highly recommend it.

What a fantastic experience it was to stay at Explora Valle Sagrado. We had incredible days exploring the region, learning about the local culture, always very well supported and with a perfect structure. The accommodations and the space are something else entirely; I felt real sadness when it was time to leave. The highlight for me was undoubtedly the service. The staff is very attentive and makes your stay unique. In the lounge, we were very well attended to by Carlos, DJ, Percy, and Flavio. The guides Matias, José, Henry, and Scott ensured the best experiences on the tours. The drivers are extremely friendly and ready to tell you a little more about the country. An unmissable destination!

As a luxury travel advisor I wanted to experience Explora and the stay was way above expectations. From the arrival experience, everything happens smoothly, the rooms are spacious and the hotel has a very special setting. The highlights are the SERVICE (from guest experience: Luis, Boris, Flavio, Diego, DJ, and many more I dont remember, to the incredibly knowledgeable guides: Alejandro, Gabo, Santos, Matias), the FOOD, congrats chef Manu and team, and the expeditions. I wish my stay was longer!!!! Will definitely book all my clients asking for Peru at Explora!

Both the hotel and the staff are incredible! The level of attention to detail and care for guests is something you don't find everywhere. We spent six days at Explora and every single one was perfect: the food, the excursions, the guides, the room, the facilities, and the service. They offer an all-inclusive booking option, which makes it perfect for relaxing and disconnecting; everything is designed with that in mind. I highly recommend the Sacred Valley lodge, without a doubt!

I really wanted to love this place. The service is great, the guides are fantastic, but I'll never recover from the terrible food. For a country know for it's cuisine, Explora's food was an absolute let down. I'm still trying to figure out the pink bacon, or why the steak was so tough even though it was prepared medium. Even the potatoes were undercooked. Oh, the bar and the cocktails were great, but apparently they hired a mixologist to create the menu.

We had an amazing stay at Explora Sacred Valley. The property is stunning—such a comfortable space with beautiful decor—and the staff were friendly and attentive. We only had three days and wished we could have stayed longer. The explorations were all wonderful, with the Maras Plateau hike being a standout. There’s such a great variety of options that I wish we’d had more time to experience even more. The spa was fantastic. We took full advantage of it, from using the yoga room for stretches to daily dips in the jacuzzi and relaxing massages. Stargazing was another special highlight. The food was delicious, and I appreciated that they were able to accommodate my vegan diet. I do wish there had been more plant-based protein options, especially since the explorations can be physically demanding. Lastly, the transfers from Cusco Airport and to the Ollantaytambo train station were seamless, making the whole experience feel effortless. We can’t wait to visit another Explora location.

Our stay at Explora Valle Sagrado was simply magical. From the very first moment, we felt we were experiencing something truly unique, carefully designed to connect us with nature without sacrificing comfort. The hotel's facilities are exceptional: impeccable, respectfully integrated with the surroundings, and with a design that conveys sustainability, elegance, and serenity. It's admirable how they manage to balance luxury and ecological awareness, making every corner an invitation to rest and contemplation. The cuisine was another highlight. Each meal was a celebration of local flavors, featuring fresh, regional ingredients and an execution that spectacularly blends tradition and innovation. But what truly made the difference was the service. The staff is warm, attentive, and deeply personalized. We were celebrating our anniversary, and they surprised us with a special evening that we will never forget. That level of detail and dedication truly touched our hearts. The only thing we felt was missing to make it perfect would be the addition of more outdoor spaces to simply relax, contemplate the landscape, watch the sunrise or sunset, and enjoy the starry sky at night. It would be the perfect complement to an already wonderful experience. Without a doubt, a place we want to return to.

Everything about this hotel is incredible. The service, the guides, the food, the view, the explorations offered, etc. Highly recommended.
