Exhibition: Queer Resistance

Thursday, 05 November 2026 · Time TBA Cinema Galeries, Brussels, Belgium

About the event

What does it mean today to resist as a queer person? Queer Resistance brings together artists who view resistance as an ongoing practice: whether driven by anger or joy, collective or deeply intimate, rooted in activism, community, bodies, archives, and the imagination. From challenging dominant narratives to embracing failure, to envisioning alternative futures: the exhibition explores how artistic practices can become spaces of resistance. In dialogue with Radical Pillow Talk, it explores the places where the personal and the political intersect. Artists: Nicky Lapierre & Nour Beetch, Juli Sando, Hélène Drénou, Norah Orrico y Grima & Charli Bourgeois, Bo Rainotte, Jeff Sermon, Styx Ca’Nox, Emperatriz Placido San Martin, Aizada Amangeldy + Bakai Abdykul uulu, Lou Soussane, Tom Desterke & Julie Boodt, Erwan Roussel, Tommy Danger, Yeongseo Jee, Mathilde du Ché, Rémo Rossignol, p3dale.de.Bxl (Léonce Lainé, Nathan Bédon-Rouanet, Paul Gérard, Toàn Daubin), Cee Füllemann, Violette David, Eloy Collado, Jonas Vanderbeke, Eddie Sim, Lion Ascendant Connasse Lecture: Bo Rainotte, November 6 at 8:30 p.m.
