Stayed there the night before our anniversary and it was so lovely. The rooms are all so unique, the place has a lot of characters. The host was warm and welcoming and had interesting stories to share. I was so grateful the day of our anniversary to wake up to a delicious breakfast everything was so good and the pancakes were amazing. I would definitely recommend and I’m already considering going back

Jim is an amazing cook and a generous host. Staying in his house is like traveling through time. He is a great storyteller and values human connections. The place has multiple outstide seating areas, that are very relaxing and and each little room has its own unique atmosphere. We had a great stay, thank you for being so generous with your time, pies and stories.

Jim is an amiable and gracious host. He made me feel right at home, which felt even more-so because so many of the objects and decor are connected to the people who've touched Jim's life, and he was so affable in sharing those stories. His marvelously eclectic home was surrounded be a serene and picturesque yard, as they can only do in the Martimes, with so many options for little sitting areas to enjoy the tranquility. I only remembered to take one photo, but it was off the spectacular sun setting over the river views from the backyard oasis. Thanks Jim for the short but memorable start to my PEI visit!

Great, small an calm B&B with an amazing host. My friend and I had a great stay with an even better breakfast - freshly prepared and really filling. When you get there, you will be warmly welcomed and feel at home right away and the owner (a friendly pensioner) will make the best for you to have a pleasant and comfortable stay. He was so friendly and heplful and eager to chat and recommend things to do on the Island. So if you plan to book here, you wont regret it, but without a car it's hard to get there

This is arguably my favorite place to stay so far, and my favorite host, Uncle Jim, is a very charming and wise man. Listening to him chat makes all my fatigue disappear. The yard is large and beautiful, with fresh vegetables he grows himself. Uncle Jim allowed me to pick as many of his vegetables as I wanted to satisfy my Chinese stomach. After a whole day of rain, arriving here felt like coming home. The next day, the rain stopped, and a walk in the yard led directly to the lake. I even saw the dog cemetery; those little guys are happy in heaven because of Jim.
