My husband have been here twice from out of town: the first time, we shared a few items and the second time, we had the 7-course menu with mocktail pairings. Both times we've had an incredible experience with unique flavours and attention to detail in both the dishes and the service. Bernadette's remains one of our top dining choices whenever we stop by Edmonton.

My wife and I went to Bernadette’s for our anniversary dinner and it was an incredible experience, worth letting others know about. We had the seven course pairing. The food was plentiful and clearly prepared by someone passionate about their work! Tasted incredible and the wine/aperitif pairings were also quite smart. Standout dishes were the elk tartar, oysters, and also the sweet grass ice cream. I was a big fan of the orange wine too! Ambience was cozy and intimate. But top marks go to the severs who were really stellar. Perfect night. We’ll be back.

incredible food!! the menu is crafted with seasonal ingredients and a story behind it each item. every single bite was delicious and i can’t believe i haven’t tried it sooner. although the portions are a bit small, each dish can be ordered to share so you can try more things. my favourite was the raw elk, it was super juicy and flavourful, so definitely try it!! be sure to make a reservation as the restaurant is small

So amazing. Loved everything i got. The stew. Mushroom pate. This other one I forgot because it was something I wouldn't usually get but it was so good.

Went here for an anniversary and cannot recommend it enough. The food and service was amazing!

Just ate here, and the food was phenomenal! I loved the shared meals, and everything was delicious and flavourful. The waitresses were all friendly and accommodating, and they were so sweet (lit a candle on our dessert for our anniversary).

I was quite excited about the tasting menu. I was hoping for a curated experience. Overall, however, the food was not as elevated as we hoped. The experienced promised a story about the theme and indigenous culture and ingredients but that part of the experience was almost non-existant. The price Point was quite high for what the experience delivered. I recommend ordering from the menu rather that doing the tasting menu; it did not deliver.

An absolute gem in Edmonton. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the thought and care that has gone into every detail. The atmosphere, the beautiful tableware, and every single dish reflect an exceptional sense of aesthetics, creativity, and passion. It's been a long time since I've had a dining experience that felt this intentional. Not only are the ingredients incredibly fresh, premium, and beautifully presented, but you can also tell they've thoughtfully considered the health aspect of every dish without compromising on flavor. If you're looking for an innovative dining experience with unique, high-quality ingredients, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit. I couldn't recommend it more, and I'll definitely be coming back.

Every dish was delicious, drinks were as well, service was impeccable, music awesome, atmosphere beautiful, though I wish there was just a bit more light.. I understand not turning on the overhead lamps, but maybe a low candle with a couple more wicks, or more tea lights.

We stopped in here on a whim and regretted that our reservation was elsewhere. Drinks were good and the food was a pleasant surprise-mushroom pate. The staff was knowledgeable and explained drinks and dishes highlighting indigenous elements, the food at the table next to us made confirmed we will return for a full meal. Dishes are small bites and shareable, the atmosphere is intimate and local. You need a reservation because there are only a handful of tables. This is a hidden gem!
