GRIS-Montréal

GRIS-Montréal (Groupe de Recherche et d'Intervention Sociale) is an LGBTQ+ education non-profit that works to demystify sexual orientation and gender identity. Volunteers share first-person testimonials in schools, colleges and workplaces across greater Montreal. Based at 3155 rue Hochelaga in the city's east end, the group has become one of Quebec's best-known queer education organisations. It is a community and advocacy resource rather than a venue to visit, but it is central to Montreal's LGBTQ+ civic life.
