We really want to like this place, and we've tried several times over the past few years. But I think this visit will have been our last. Cool spot though. Menu says the dishes are meant to be shared, the $35 roast chicken plate was essentially 4 wings. It was good, but definitely not THAT good. Most of my experiences with their menu over the years have been similar. I get what they are trying to do, but it's just not that. Another time we tried to go in during happy hour for a cocktail and were turned away unless we wanted wine or canned beer, as we were standing in front of a stocked bar with staff right there. It was one of the owners I believe that was not very cool about it at all, a very awkward interaction.

Locally sourced, incredibly layered flavours throughout our whole meal. Service was wonderful. We let the chef choose and he surpassed our expectations. Mind blown! The lamb, scallops, croquettes with dazzling honey mustard, burrata with crisp fresh toasted sour dough. And to finish off we had peach wine and house made sweet vermouth- OMG the flavours exploded and warmed my mouth! Highly recommend. This was the best food we have ever had while sitting on their outside deck. We will be back!
