Capital Pride (Fierté dans la Capitale)

Capital Pride / Fierté dans la Capitale is the non-profit that produces Ottawa's annual Pride festival, held every August since 1986. The week-long celebration draws thousands to a festival site and a parade that runs from LeBreton Flats east along Wellington Street past Parliament Hill and south down Bank Street through the Village. The bilingual organisation also runs year-round community programming and is the central hub for LGBTQ+ visitors timing a trip around Pride.
