Travelodge Suites by Wyndham Regina / Eastgate Bay

We moved to this hotel from a nearby property, attracted by the suite-style rooms and reasonable rates, but our stay was disappointing. The lobby felt dated, with a garbage bin and a trolley of used dishes left out, and both the front desk and hallways appeared worn. The overall atmosphere was uncomfortable, with police present frequently and groups of young people coming and going looking intoxicated. Our suite was dated but reasonably clean. The blackout curtains were barely attached, and the WC was clogged, forcing us to use the sink in the living area. Noise was a major issue, with constant door slamming, loud hallway conversations, and footsteps from the room above, making it difficult to rest and eventually leading us to shorten our stay. We informed the front desk and arranged a late checkout, yet on departure day a housekeeping supervisor forcefully attempted to enter our room despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign, questioned our checkout arrangement, refused to listen, and even threatened a late fee. Her behavior was highly unprofessional. Overall, the property feels neglected and in need of renovation and better staff training.

Rooms were clean, quiet, roomy and great for the price. Stay was problem free.

This was the dirtiest, filfithist hotel I have ever stayed in. It was actually disgusting. Stains all over the carpets, the bedding was visibility dirty. Walls, curtains, carpet etc., dirty. My children were actually scared and thought it was Blood. I will never be staying at this hotel again.

It's definitely a more outdated Hotel but it's not a bad place to stay at all, the only thing I will say is there's definitely not a lot of insulation in the walls haha. But I would stay here again.

Unacceptable Experience – Room Downgrade, Noise Issues, and Spider Bites We checked in on Thursday evening, and by 8:45 p.m. we had to change rooms due to extreme noise from the family above us... it sounded like their children were being murdered. After two noise complaints, the staff told us we had to move because the guest above had children, even though my mother has a broken ankle. We were moved to a much smaller, non-renovated room that felt like a clear downgrade. The bathroom was dirty and not up to the same standard as the first room. That night, I woke up with three spider bites, which became infected by morning and required a clinic visit. An unexpected expense since I’m not from Saskatchewan. The next night was quiet, but on our last night I woke up with five new spider bites all over my legs. The hotel offered 20% off our first night and one night free, which we appreciated, but it doesn’t come close to making up for the medical costs, discomfort, and overall poor experience. Between the noise, the room downgrade, and the spider infestation, this stay was incredibly disappointing. I sincerely hope management addresses these issues so future guests don’t go through the same experience.

This hotel is just sad. Its like no effort is made. The front lobby is unwelcoming with a cart for dirty dishes and garbage cans right in the seating area. Reception area and hallways are dark and dingy. Our room was clean but there was a huge hole in the blackout curtains and the curtain was only hanging by a few hooks. The toilet seat was also broken. No seating available other than on the bed. The breakfast was very basic. So basic I wonder why they bother serving it. The whole hotel has an air of nobody cares about it.

Carpets were disgustingly dirty in our room! Staff never answers the phone and didn’t want to give us extra towels/toilet paper. When I asked if they could come clean the rooms and change bed sheets they said that they don’t do that. No ice bucket, no screen on windows and the toilet was plugged. The only thing good about the room were that the beds were comfortable.

Friendly folks at desk. Nice suite. Good restaurants nearby. Everything we need in one hotel

We never even checked in. Saw the horrible state of disrepair the building is in, walked in, canceled our reservation and moved on. We would not trust this place nor the people we saw staying there.
