About this place Church St. Garage Bar

Church St. Garage Bar is a gay bar at 477 Church Street, in the stretch of the Church-Wellesley Village where most of Toronto's queer bars sit. The room plays on its name, with old licence plates and a garage theme on the walls. It is a casual neighbourhood bar with a good beer list, standard cocktails and drag performances on some nights. The patio is the draw in summer and fills quickly on warm evenings and Pride weekend. Over 1,200 Google reviews average 4.2, which is solid for a busy Village bar. Hours and the show schedule are not in our data, so check the bar's socials before planning a night around a performance.

Finding a truly dog-friendly spot in the city can be tough, but Garage is a total game-changer! They don't just welcome dogs on the patio, they actually allowed our big pup inside with open arms, and the staff even brought over a water bowl. On top of the amazing hospitality, you HAVE to try the Garage Burger! it's super juicy, packed with flavor, and easily one of the best burgers around. Absolutely love this place!
