The room was VERY small and VERY noisy. From staff milling around on the floor outside your room to the thin walls and the ridiculous ac that slams loudly on and blasts for 5 min before shutting off, just long enough for you to fall asleep again before it slams on again. There is no fridge, dont bother bringing beverages. The front desk staff are not very friendly, no offer of help with bags on the steep front steps. Walkable to the waterfront and the Great Hall but no fun shops anywhere around there. This was my biggest hotel disappointment in Toronto yet.

A cozy, nice little boutique hotel with quite a bit of history to it as well, where I was of course able to just escape from everyone and everything for some decompression and relaxation. A lasting memory to say the least. We leave behind everything and lose grasp of everything except for a fond memory or two.

It was a cute spot with cool jazz music (we were there for jazz night). It wasn't as lively as their other events, but still good.
