Words cannot describe how immaculate this place is. The food is insanely perfect every single time. No. Notes. The service is attentive without being pretentious, they are so knowledgeable and effortless in their description but you know so much work is involved. We were one of the last seating to of the evening and watching the kitchen clear down SCRUBBING THE EXAUST fans and everything was absolutely heaven. We love this place, we’re so grateful they are in Toronto, world class.

Grey Gardens thoroughly exceeded our expectations last night! Every dish was absolutely delicious, and Jennifer went above and beyond with her excellent service. This restaurant has always been a hidden gem, and we’re thrilled that we can continue to enjoy our experiences here. They dealt with a previous hiccup very professionally and we still consider it to be one of the best restaurants in the city. Thank you.

Good food in a cozy location, but I left my meal feeling a tad underwhelmed. With the buzz and accolades this place has gotten, and considering the prices, I came in hoping for more complexity in flavours than I ended up received. Perhaps that’s a little unfair of me and warrants a second visit. Nonetheless, hearty dishes and some standout desserts.

The food was good, but the flavors lacked harmony. Some dishes lacked acidity and were very greasy, without any refinement. The fish didn't seem fresh, and the sauce was cold. The service was extremely fast and felt rushed. A beautiful restaurant worth discovering, but based on the experience, the food wasn't up to par.

Celebrated wife’s birthday here, and it was delicious! The black cod was incredibly tender The fried pie was a highlight, with a churro-like crust that was my wife’s favourite

Didn’t realize I was dining in Vancouver tonight bc this meal was gastownnnn!!! Went for a highly anticipated grey Monday tasting menu and was wow wow wowed by pretty much every bite (particularly the shrimp ravioli, and yes, I’m GLAD it came with bread). Do the freaking wine pairing if you ever go, it’s well worth it to have to think just a lillll bit less and have a sexy little sip to hold hands with each course (thank you Jake!) Service was wonderful, every member on staff that interacted with us was very kind and attentive at every step of the meal. Just a lovely experience overall (portion size was good, we left full! 🫄)

Third time here and we stumbled in as a group of 5. Was greeted with the warmest service and was so well taken care of. Been there for three different menus, and this time was no different - everything was extremely creative and well executed to a T. Will be back. Also I don’t know our servers name but she rocked!

The food was pretty good but ultimately forgettable. And the portions were very small, especially for the price. There also wasn’t much to choose from either. My biggest issue was the loudness of the space. I’ve never been to a higher-end restaurant where they blasted music so loud you could barely hear the other person speak. It’s a terrible place if you’re going on a date.
