Helena's Magic Kitchen

Went to Helena’s Magic Kitchen for lunch and really enjoyed it. It has that classic husband-and-wife local spot kind of feel — busy, a solid lunch line, and you can tell people keep coming back for a reason. I had the stuffed chicken with potato latka, perogies, and salad, and everything tasted like good, clean homemade food. Nothing overcomplicated, just comforting and well-made. The kind of meal that feels like someone actually cooked it for you, not just assembled it. If you’re looking for honest, homemade comfort food and don’t mind a bit of a lunch rush, definitely worth checking out.

What a gem found hidden away in the city. Incredible food with a very hearty Eastern European menu. Had the Latky, chicken, beets and slaw… the tray got better and better the more I dug in. Bless Helena and her Magical Kitchen. Will be back soooon!

Finding this spot made my day! The owner is the sweetest person and her genuine kindness was so refreshing. For just $10, the breakfast special comes with massive portions that really hit the spot. It’s rare to find such incredible value and heart in one place. Truly a gem!

Got a broccoli quiche and broccoli latke and cabbage as sides. Amazing as always. Broccoli has a decent bite to it and the cabbage slaw is nice and tangy

One of great places to eat at the Grange. Food, prices and service keeps the line ups going during the lunch period. Also, everything is tasty!

Thoroughly enjoyed my lunch. The spinach chicken was excellent and side salads were great for a very reasonable price.

I really wanted to like the food because of the high review, but how on earth can the chicken taste so tasteless? When the sides taste better than the star of the Chicken of the Day combo, something is wrong. Maybe other items on the menu are good, but don't order the Chicken of the Day. There are better options in the food court.

The best place to eat healthy and cheap in the grange by far. They cook the chicken breast fresh, the prices are fantastic, the two people working are very nice and hard working, the portion is very filling. Super satisfied, I only wish they were open for longer but they have lives to live.

Horrible I won’t come here again! Rude woman who basically yelled at me for asking a normal question any customer would ask when she wasn’t even busy.
