✨ What a delightful experience from the moment we arrived! ✨ We were warmly greeted by the host and manager and welcomed to our beautiful table. Everyone was so attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly special throughout the evening. ❤️ We enjoyed the tasting menu, and WOW! 🤩 Every single dish was delicious, beautifully presented, and thoughtfully prepared. ★★★★★ **Five Sails — An Absolutely Unforgettable Experience** There are great restaurants, and then there are experiences you will talk about for years. **Five Sails in Vancouver is in a category all its own.** We stopped in Vancouver on our way to Whistler as part of a law school graduation celebration, and to say we were amazed would be a massive understatement. This was quite possibly **the best overall restaurant experience we have ever had.** From the moment we arrived, we had the absolute blessing of having **William as our server**, and he was phenomenal from beginning to end. Warm, knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our evening special. And it wasn't just William. The entire Five Sails team seemed to anticipate what we needed before we even knew we needed it. The level of service was extraordinary. Then there was **Ellie and her cocktail menu!** Ellie has personally concocted an incredible collection of drinks, and somehow we managed to start at the top of the menu and work our way through it. 😂 Every single creation was unique, thoughtful, and absolutely delicious. Ellie, you are incredibly talented! And then came **Chef Alex**. We had the opportunity to visit with him several times throughout our meal, which took an already amazing evening to another level. You can feel the passion and attention to detail behind what comes out of his kitchen. The food wasn't simply dinner. It was an experience from beginning to end. What really makes Five Sails special, though, is the combination of **incredible food, creative cocktails, impeccable service, and people who genuinely care about creating a memorable evening for their guests.** Everyone we encountered was unbelievable. We have eaten at some wonderful restaurants and had some incredible meals, but **Five Sails now sits at the very top of our list.** If you're reading reviews trying to decide whether to go, **stop reading and book the reservation. Right now.** Make Five Sails part of your Vancouver experience. Ask for William, introduce yourself to Ellie, enjoy those cocktails, and if you're lucky enough to meet Chef Alex, you'll understand exactly why this place is so special. **Five stars doesn't begin to cover it. Came to Five Sails for a birthday dinner. We learned there was a new head chef and owner. The meal was amazing. Rivals Michelin star restaurants both locally and abroad both in quality of service and food. William, our server was also excellent. We will be back!

Service was excellent, the food was amazing. Chef Alex is wise beyond his years-came to our table and his food is subwrb! Highly recommend with manicures of the harbor to entertain you as you savor every bite. The sommelier was excellent as well! Bravo!

I rarely leave reviews, but I honestly think I had one of the best dining experiences of my life here and they deserve to be recognized. My partner and I came here for our anniversary a few weeks ago. The food was good, service was exceptional, and we got to have dinner while overlooking the Vancouver Harbour. I really loved the apple dessert. I hope they keep it up!

Dining here was truly an EXPERIENCE! The staff, the food, the atmosphere, the views - truly incredible! We celebrated our 4 year wedding anniversary here and could not have chosen a better place!

Martina our server was amazing

I had filet mignon for my entree. It was the best I ever had. All items were unique and wonderful. Ambience was lovely with water view and all the planes landing on the water and taking off.

The restaurant has a beautiful view (even if there’s bird shit on the windows…😂). However the food was insanely delicious, the story they have created describing what they make and the cocktails is awesome! My girlfriend and I celebrated our anniversary and the staff was super friendly and nice, especially our server Guus, thanks! Had a blast!

Five Sails was truly an unforgettable dining experience. The food was absolutely spectacular, and the service was attentive, polished, and right on point throughout the evening. The beverage pairings—not just the wine pairings—were mind-blowing. Every selection was creative, thoughtful, and perfectly complemented each course. The Sommelier Antoine really goes outside of the box and comes up with incredible flavor combinations. Chef Kim is a true visionary. I cannot recommend Five Sails highly enough, whether you are visiting Vancouver or you are a local who has not yet given it a try. This is a dining experience you do not want to miss!

This was one of the best dining experiences experiences we have had. All involved with our service were extraordinary. Each course was scrumptious! William, our main server was delightful and friendly. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We had the most lovely dinner at Five Sails celebrating my sister’s birthday. The view was stunning, the cocktails were excellent, food was so delicious and flavourful (probably the best meal I’ve had in Vancouver) and beautifully plated. We felt very well taken care of by Martina, who was very kind and attentive. Thank you for making our night so special, I could not speak more highly of this restaurant.
