Four Points by Sheraton Windsor Downtown

There was no parking and we weren’t informed ahead. Instead of providing parking for hotel room guests, they ask you to pay them. We also had to endure a rude receptionist and after forgetting an item, they couldn’t help recover it but push us from one department to another.

Have to echo the other reviews here. The rooms are as expected for Four Points but we can't enjoy the accommodation at all with unsupervised kids running the halls, banging on all the doors, and generally behaving as you'd expect away from parents. Do not stay at this location for business travel.

Great stay, clean and comfortable room. Steps from variety of food and shops. Easy check-in, good gym, plus right next to Detroit border. Least favourite part was the breakfast, but still decent for the $6 add-on I paid. Starbucks is also on the property.

The room is a little loud with little insulation. The location was great with many things to do locally. The updates are great. Parking is tight but not expensive.

If you value getting a peaceful rest as part of your stay I would choose somewhere else. The location is cool, the hotel itself is clean and nice. However half the night you’ll listen to loud cars up and down the road revving up constantly outside and then when you think just maybe you can get some sleep after that you’ll be stuck listening to people partying and loud music clear until daylight in the rooms on your floor.

I was on my way back home from a very long drive and I needed a place to rest for a bit and because it was after midnight most hotels wouldn't accommodate me. However when I called this hotel, I was able to get to get a room and be able to rest. I'm very appreciative of Ian who definitely went above and beyond and provided amazing service. Thank you Ian and thank you Four Points; I will definitely be back.

You can get to every level without a swipe card, and can get into the hotel via a side door with no swipe card, very unsafe. Total party hotel, I wouldn’t stay here if you want a good nights sleep. The night we stayed there was a frat party on our level, about 60 teens running around the entire fourth floor drinking, shouting and singing. Security did nothing about it. We opted to check out at 3am and drive two hours home instead of staying, that’s how bad it was.

WHOEVER IS PUMPING THE OLD MAN COLOGNE THROUGHOUT THE HOTEL NEEDS TO STOP. We've spoken to over a dozen hotel guests in passing about the smell and it's incredibly overwhelming and disgusting. We purposely didn't eat in the restaurant because the smell is horrendous. I'm sure management thinks it's cute and "luxurious" but my god please stop.
