Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada

I had an amazing experience at Iberostar Costa Dorada in Puerto Plata! The resort is beautiful, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and there is always something fun to do. The atmosphere, entertainment, food, and overall service made our stay very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing vacation in the Dominican Republic! 🇩🇴🌴☀️ A very special shoutout to King Kong from the entertainment team! 🦍🔥 He was absolutely amazing and brought so much energy, fun, and laughter to our stay. He really knows how to entertain everyone and make guests feel included. His personality and positive energy stood out the entire time, and he definitely made our vacation even more memorable! I also want to recognize Damaris from the cleaning service team. She was so kind, attentive, and always made sure everything was clean and comfortable. 🧹✨ And a big shout-out to Yara from the pool bar! 🍹🏖️ She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and provided such great service. She always had a smile and made our time by the pool even better! The staff truly made us feel welcomed and appreciated. ❤️ I would definitely recommend Iberostar Costa Dorada and would love to come back again! King Kong is very friendly, funny , and kind!

The major problem was that the Air Transat agent never showed up. The resort itself is very nice. The food is as varied as in other resorts. It's close to the airport. The city tour is interesting.

I loved the entire service, the great atmosphere, the beautiful location, and the attention, especially from the entertainment team. The King Kong Ninja Changüí Sol y Burbuja entertainment team were the best; it's worth coming here. They make your vacation the most fun at this hotel, and I love the dance lessons. I learned to dance bachata very well, and the games are extremely fun. The entertainment team is 10/10.

Iberostar Puerto Plata exceeded our expectations! Beautiful, comfortable, and with great company!

Very nice hotel!!! The staff is very polite and attentive, although not very friendly. The food is very varied and of excellent quality!!! Kudos to the chef. The breakfast is very complete with a variety of fruits and delicious natural juices. If you're celiac, there's very little variety!!! One less thing for the minibar. While there are sodas and beer, the power goes out when you leave your room, and the fridge stops working. When you return to the room, the drinks are warm. A shame!!! And if you need to store medication, forget it, the fridge is useless.

Great hospitality during check in. Staff very friendly throughout the resort. Room was spacious and clean. Very variety was nice and flavorful in the buffet. They have great activities for the children. The gym was nice for a hotel gym. They had all the necessities. I didn't want to leave.

5-star gastronomy

As always, I was delighted with the hotel. Excellent service, delicious food, and incredibly friendly and attentive staff. The entertainment team was amazing, especially a girl I met named Burbuja.
