Caravana del Orgullo LGBTIQ+ Santo Domingo
About This Event
Santo Domingo's Caravana del Orgullo is a convoy of cars and trucks with music and flags, not a walking march. Organisers trace it back to 2007. It has been used to demand justice for hate crimes and to push back on the Penal Code reform.
The 19th caravan ran on Sunday 23 August 2026, a month later than the July date of 2025. REVASA led it with TRANSSA, COLESDOM and other groups. It left Terminal Don Diego in the Zona Colonial at 2pm, passed through Ciudad Nueva, Gazcue and Villa María, and ended at the Festival Obsesión in Parque Eugenio María de Hostos on the Malecón.
The 2027 date hadn't been announced when we checked.
