My first time at this hotel. I arrived on time for check-in, but the rooms weren't ready; one of them was only available 1 hour and 40 minutes late. When booking through the hotel's phone line, I requested a room with an accessible bathroom for an elderly person, but upon check-in, they told us it wasn't available and could only offer me a regular room. They shouldn't offer reservations for rooms they won't have available. Keep this in mind when booking here if you require punctuality and a specific room. Also, if you plan to use the jacuzzi, be aware that it's not heated. We tried to use it, and many of the other guests were unhappy about it. I consider it a well-known hotel brand, which is why we booked it, expecting the quality that a Lucerna hotel offers.

The hotel elevator was malfunctioning—it kept opening and closing several times before finally shutting, which made me anxious about using it. I ended up using a different elevator for the rest of my stay. The jacuzzi wasn’t warm at all, so we asked for maintenance. The technician told us it would take about two hours to heat up, but he only increased the temperature by 5 degrees. On the positive side, the front desk staff was friendly and helpful, and the valet service was friendly.

An old-fashioned, expensive and disappointing hotel.
